Xisu has a wealth of both practical business and consulting experience, backed by a solid academic foundation. He is one of the leading thinkers in China on People Development and the Chinese Culture.

Prior to starting his own consulting company in 1999, Xisu spent time as a member of the Asia/Pacific Board of Directors of Caradon Electric International based in Hong Kong. Prior to that he was a Senior Consultant with EDS in Boston and Hong Kong, and an Internal Consultant for Unilever in Boston and New York providing China Market Entry advice. Recently he has been retained as a professor on strategy, management, and communication at Tsinghua University, People's University, Peking University and University of International Business and Economics.

Xisu began his career in 1971 as an English Lecturer at the Tianjin Foreign Languages Institute, from where he moved to Nanjin University in 1981 to become the Associate Professor and Dean.

Academically, after gaining a BA in English and a MA in English Literature, Xisu earned a PhD in Comparative Literature, and became a Post doctoral research fellow of Harvard University. He also has a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Xisu speaks fluent English. His mother tongue is Mandarin.
